Been gone for awhile...

Life is confusing at times. Sometimes we are so sure of who we are that we forget that we really don't know.
I'm still working on the novel, though I put it aside for over a year. Perhaps the break was necessary. I've been focusing on my art as of late instead. Now I'm diving in all at once. Every bit. This crazy cycle of complacency isn't working for me anymore. Inspiration was all around me, but I chose to ignore it.
No more excuses. I'm surrounded by dangerous people. They're after my happiness, soul-sucking sycophants. Go feed on your own dreams. (You know who you are).
So, I'm ranting. Aren't we all?
